Teaching English in Japan Guide Podcast: Beta Episode 001 “Introductions”
This is a very very beta podcast recorded on a digital voice recorder. I (Eric) forgot the most important cable in my setup so we couldn’t use our good mics and equipment, sorry.
It will get better so please stick around with us as we work the bugs out and get a rhythm going

Teaching English in Japan Guide is going to be starting a Podcast any week now. Just got off the phone with Anthony and we think we have settled on a day that both of us have no other commitments. We hope to record the inaugural episode Friday the 29th of May. We walked through a rough show format today. It will probably be something like this:
We are thinking the podcast will be 30 minutes to an hour. As soon as we get everything organized we will make a post with information on how to subscribe through iTunes or any other podcasting client.

Thought we would give you a little update on the progress we are making.
Currently I (Eric) am working on the section that talks about what you can expect your students to be like. I will give the perspective from both an ALT in a high school and an Eikaiwa (English Conversation School) teacher.
Anthony is hard at work on the TOEIC, TOEFL, and EIKEN section of the book. This section talks about the different test that Japanese students and workers take. He talks about the usual teaching methods and what you can expect when teaching these types of classes.
Talk to you soon!!
